Book Club

The purpose of our history book club is to help teachers become more familiar with our American history. Participants will be reading a variety of content-rich books. We plan to meet every few weeks in a variety of settings to conduct a salon (a meeting of intellectuals). Plans include both online and in-person meetings at various sites throughout the three counties. CSUF professors will help plan discussion topics and will oversee a few meetings related to the reading. First Book: American Exodus by James N. Gregory Second Book: The Fight in the Fields by Susan Ferriss and Ricardo Sandoval Third Book: Black Politics/White Power by Yohuru Williams.
